Went out for a short trip today from 10-12. I put in at Elm Hill and ran to the second bluff on the right. I had 5 bites and caught 3. I used a drop shot with a size two hook, 3/16 ounce weight and a roboworm in the blue gill color. I picked up a GoPro camera at Bass Pro last night and spent most of my time playing with that. All in all a successful day in my book for this time of year.

    Check out my first production!

Great job on the camera, you’ll have to start your own YouTube channel.

Nice job! Did you use a 6 inch worm or a 4 inch worm?

Thanks for the positive feedback 😀 . Next time I will post a video where I am doing more fishing and less driving around. I was using the 4 inch roboworm.

The bold bluegill color from roboworm is awesome at certain times of year.
I had a huge day with it in Indiana on a shakey head during the spawn/post-spawn. It doesn’t look great in the bag, but see,s to get a lot of bites.

I’ll be out tomorrow. If anyone sees a red, black and white BassCat at the bluffs say hello.

    Jermie,
My partner tends to flake out a bunch in the winter. I’ll let you know next time I’m looking for a partner during the cold days.

Hooper, what kind of truck/trailer ate you in? I am at elm hill just about every weekend during the winter.

J, I drive a two-tone silver and dark grey f150. It has a brush guard and a john deere license plate on it. My trailer is just black with “hydra sports” written on the side. That was actually my first time to launch there.

    SimpleCircuit,

What type of BassCat do you run? I don’t see too many on Priest. I run a Margay.

Also, nice video! 1 piece of unsolicited feedback, I don’t think you uploaded your video in HD?

    Kessler82.
I run a 2004 cougar FTD with a 250 proXS. Last week I saw a guy with a black and bronze pantera (Maybe a margay?) putting in at elm hill. My boat is easy to spot, because I’m always in water that is too shallow. 😳

As for at the ramp, I have a gray Toyota Tundra with SMB plates and a red BassCat trailer.

I can understand why your partner flakes out in winter. LOL. That is some fast, cold, boat riding. Nice video.
