Got on the water at 7a.m fished to noon. Caught 13 bass all where caught on squarebill crankbait (Strike King Gizard Shad Black Back) and Rattle Trap (Strike King Red Eye Shad (Charteuse Sexy Shad).Could’nt get them to hit a buzz bait. Had only 2 keepers about 2 1/2lbs each all in all good day.

We went out from about 8 till 12:30. We had 7 with one keeper, had three that we couldn’t connect with, one of which was a toad. All of ours came on spook and popr. Nothing on buzz bait. Threw a shad rap a little and could get anything on it except bluegill
Did talk to two guys at the ramp that swore they had caught 70 striper with a spoon. Smaller ones they said. And literally a spoon. Handle cut off, two holes drilled, you get the picture. Lol
