Started out at the point right across from the Stewarts Creek ramp on Sat morning at 5:15. Threw crankbaits, rattle traps and a fluke for schooling bass but another boat found the school before we did and we decided to move on without a fish. Headed to Wheatly (sp?) Bridge where Brian had found some schooling bass last week and they were boiling the water when we pulled up. They were not interested in rattle traps but we managed 6 (2 keepers) on flukes and shakey heads. Headed to a spot right before the 1st cut thru past sister cove and tried the ledge on the right. No fish. Headed back to the point across from SC ramp and fished texas rigged worms and 3 inch grubs with many light bites but no fish in the boat. Went back to the bridge and caught two more on small rooster tails and missed a few on a large sexy spoon. We were off the lake by 10:15…getting warm and the fish just were not really cooperating. Looking forward to the cool off this week. Brians report last week saved our Sat morning, without that tip on the bridge we would have zeroed. Thanks Brian!
