Hit East Fork today at 4 till 7:15. Started at the 840 bridge on the first column on the left. Casting on the inside of the column I caught 6 in about a half hour on a Norman shad DD 9-12 . First fish was the biggest LM of the day at just over 3 lbs. The rest of the LM were not keepers but I did catch a nice spot and a big white bass that gave me a good fight. Moved down to the old roadbed past the ramp and no fish in 15 min. Headed back to the bride and caught 3 more bass, 2 LM and one spot on a yellow Norman DD 9-12 foot. Dragged a worm and tried the fluke but the water was muddy and needed something with sound, hooked 2 on a green/yellow Rapala DD 15 but both jumped off. Left with 9 total and was happy to see the current running. All bass hit those cranks when I was reeling as fast as I could without rolling the crank. Total reaction bites. Thanks for the heads up on the day you had there recently Brian. Current has them feeding for sure. Slowed way down after 6:30 which surprised me, best bite was from 4-6.
