A Change of Pace is sometimes good
Guys I fish 3-6 days a week chasing the Largemouth bass, running from one end to the other as fast as I can, casting 3 billion times and changing baits every 3rd cast. It is fun and that is what I love to do but some times changing the pace is a good thing and it shows you some of the other fish in the sea, it also gives you time to relax and enjoy the great weather we are having right now. Lately I have been running up river with my cast net and catching live bait and then running back down lake and straight lining for Hybrids and stripers and it has been a blast. There is something about dropping a 5-7” gizzard shad down 18′ and sitting back relaxing and letting your live bait do all the work while you drift around, and then your 7′ med heavy spinning rods gets knock out of sight and then the fight is on, catching 5-15lb nothing but muscle studs on lite tackle is a blast. not only am I catching Hybrids I have catch some big catfish and my son caught a huge crappie today, so you never know what is going to snatch you bait up. So if you want to change the pace give Brian a call and book a trip. The afternoons and the best for Hybrids, went this morning and yesterday morning and it was slow, they seem to feed a lot better in the afternoons.
