April 1-Percy Priest
Fished from 7:45-2:30 today out of Stewart’s Creek. Started in Stewarts Creek by the old boat ramp. Fished both sides of the creek with topwater and Squarebills but no action. Motored to Sister Creek where we spotted some gulls diving. Worked down to that pocket on the north side and caught one near keeper on the sqarebill. Next stop was Jones Mill. Caught a couple of keepers, same bait. Lost another but caught a dink bass, a small drum and a small white bass. The “oyster” color seems to produce. Next stop was Spring Creek. Fished in the flat to the right where creek bends to the left. Hit a very nice bass off a rock point in the flat. She went 6 lb 5 oz again on the oyster. Next stop was Fall Creek , only caught one nit in here. Next ran up the Stones River. Fished brush at the end of the long bluff before the pump house and caught a nice keeper. Couple of more stops before putting it on the trailer. Wound up with 5 keepers and another near keeper, 2 white bass, 2 nits, 1 drum and one bream all on the Squarebill. All fish returned safely to the water.

Awesome…nice bass for PP. Hard to find 6 pounders on the lake it seems but I have caught several over 5. Thanks for the report!
