Yesterday I went out from 1pm-4pm with two great guys.

We idled out of Fate Sanders where the water temperature was 62 and straight into Fall Creek. The water has dropped several inches so I had to be very careful idling to the back. Once we passed the big flat we started casting minnows on floats in 2ft-5ft of water. The water was 64 degrees with 2ft-3ft visibility! We fishing every stump and log we could find and ended up catching around 20 crappie, including 15 keepers! It was a good day, but I felt like we had to fish a lot of stumps and wood to get what we did.

Today I fished in Stewarts Creek in the back. We fishing the stumps and laydowns near the back boat ramp to the rip rap. The water was 63 with 2ft-3ft visibility as well. It was hard to fish because the wind was so strong, but we were able to catch several keepers.

Throughout each day I tried purple/chart Crappie Magnets with a red jig on a float. It seemed to be just as good as the minnows sometimes.

All and all fun couple days! The crappie we have been catching have been huge!

I’ll be out in the rain tomorrow casting my spook all day!!!! Hope it’s as action packed day!

You have got to be kidding me lol. I fished fall creek for 4 hours that morning hit every stump, log, crappie bed I could find with minnows and jigs not 1 crappie.
