A short, but great crappie report. Yesterday I had three trips…..the first time I’ve done that in a while. Each trip I spent the entire time behind Fate Sanders Marina(I’ve never done that)! The water temperature was 61 to 63 throughout the day and the water clarity was a 1.5ft. I kept the boat in 4 to 6 feet of water casting floats with minnows and Crappie Magnets fished on a 1/16oz heads to the bank! We fished the right and center bank if you’re going back from the marina. We caught near 60 keepers throughout the entire day with a bunch of short crappie. Our best colors were pink and chartreuse with a chartreuse jig head. Awesome day!
