Yesterday Jerry and I fished for crappie from 6 to 1pm. We had a great day fishing brushpiles from 11 to 16 feet of water with live minnows solely. We started out of Fate Sanders and fished in front of Sister Cove for a while catching several keepers. Then we moved over the Pooles knob area near the boat ramp and caught several more keepers. I motored over near the Youth Camp and we caught several more keepers in 14 ft of water and then idled across from the Youth Camp to the bluff wall on the right and went into the little cove. Back in the cove we focused in 15-16 feet of water around two brushpiles and caught quite a few more keepers. Our last spot was up lake past Weakley lane bridge just passed Lamar Hill. t
There’s a red buoy on the right side of the channel. Next to that red buoy there’s a big tree in 14 feet of water. We caught a lot of keepers and short fish there as well. All and all we had 50 crappie with 26 keepers!
