Today I fished with 2 great guys who are members of this forum. We had a great morning catching around 10 bass(almost all were caught the first 2 hours). All but 2 of our fish came on Hoppy’s 3/8 Hawg Buzz buzzbaits, in 1ft-2ft of water just down from the Smyrna pumping house. There still seems to be a lot of fish shallow, but I think there are many that have moved out to a little deeper water….especially after the sun rises. If we had a cloudy day I would day shallow all day, but when the sun comes out the bites slows down.

One of our last fish came behind Four Corners Marina around 10am on a deep diving crankbait(good size smallie)!

I was going to ask the same thing.
Is there a local name for the pump house by Hong Kong?
