Where are the bass on Old Hickory lake? Specifically around Cedar Creek area. When fishing in the late evening, what do you recommend for bait?

Right now the bass are in two locations that I know of on Old Hickory Lake.

    1) On main channel ledges. The mouth of Cedar Creek is a great area for this! Fish with a 10″ worm(purple, black, plum, etc) Texas Rig)

    2) Around the short grass in the creeks and coves. Cedar Creek has a lot of this near the bridge and around the docks. Topwater lures and spinnerbaits are great!

In the evenings I love to fish a Zara Spook where the bait fish are schooled up. Look for the bait on the surface and then cast right into them. Poppers, buzzbaits, flukes and rattle traps are also good for these conditions.
