Bass report Sunday 10/04
Found some schools of small bass in the back of creeks on flats with a rattle trap Water temp was 68 degrees and the water was a little low. Caught about 12 but only had one keeper and was never able to locate any bigger bass. I assuming that the larger bass have not made it as far into the creeks yet so I will be trying the mouths of Spencer and Station Camp this week! Anyone else been out on Old Hickory

I was out from 6 to 1 on Wed. No current, water temp 68-74, no wind, clarity 1-2 ft. Launched out of Davis Corner tried top water in the backs of creek and in shallow flats but no hits. Fished all the way out to the river hitting docks and places in 4-10 ft close to the creek edge using rattle traps, square bills, spinner baits and shallow cranks but no luck.
Moved over to Station Camp using side-scan from the mouth all the way back to the split. Saw some bait but nothing hitting them and no bass below. Fished the flat by the duck blind then anywhere I saw pods of bait fish.
Not 1 nibble all day.

That is a rough day for sure. I am getting out this weekend and hope to fish all day and find a good pattern any tips from folks who have been out would be appreciated.

I also would also be grateful for any tips. I’ve got a boat, great lures, rods and reels, HB 199 SI and HB 859 DI but having trouble finding/catching LM bigger that 14 inches.
