Bluegill with virus?
Posted by creekcrappie on August 11, 2013 at 12:11 amI went out and caught a whole lot of bluegill today. Some of the fish I caught had this virus. What is it?

That a good question….I am not sure. I would send that picture to TRWA and see what they say. Maybe a bacteria virus.

Slabber MikeWell I got some live crickets, and a size 8 cricket hook, a small splint shot, and a eagle claw spring bobber. I have been catching (and releasing) lots of big bluegill, and lots of bluegill, at Fate Sanders Marina. I just fish left of the floating dock/ bait shop, and always ask permission before I fish. Soon our boat will be fixed, Where is a general area to look for some brush to catch the crappie.

Deleted UserAugust 16, 2013 at 2:41 amwe have been putting our own brush and stake beds in areas up stream from Fate Sanders. Best idea is to be on the water at winter pool and you will find a lot of trash on ledges and close to the channel. Don’t catch as many as Brian does but no minners will get in my boat.
Thanks for the reply
