    You can go to the TWRA office that is located near the PP dam and they will issue a permit.I had one for the month of April.

    at the boat show last year, we talked to the TWRA. They encouraged it but they said nothing about getting a permit to me…

    I would get a permit. I think they want to make sure people don’t think doing something like this is OK. This is scary, especially when you consider the amount of boat traffic out there at night.

    I went to the address posted above and they issued a permit. Very easy process and it is legal. I think there is a major fine if you are caught placing brush piles without a permit. The permits are issued by the Corps of engineers.

    Wow a boat?? I agree some ppl are Idiots.. Ill get a permit next time and thanks for showing the picture…
