No matter what brand I throw they always lay on there side instead of vertically. Anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it9

I use the hoppy buzz in various sizes, I’ve found that If I hold my rod too high it sometimes flips on it’s side on the retrieve. You might try lowering your rod slightly. Also try bending the lower wire slightly to the opposite direction it leans.

Also slow your retrieve to where it barely stays on the surface that helps some of my booyaa buzz baits that run crooked every now and then

Both of those 2 adjustments just stated should help tremendously.

to add to the other recommendations, you could also use a much heavier buzzbait. 3/8-1/2oz will help it stay right side up.
