The weather is shaping up to produce another great fluke bite tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

Despite the perfect weather (cloudy with intermittent showers), we had only a mediocre day. Started off near the same cove as last week, only caught a few. Fished in and around Four Corners with minimal success. Headed to Spring Creek. Bait everywhere, but only an occasional school of bass would break the surface. When our flukes could reach them we hooked up. Caught one on a tubecraw.

Fished the point and bank behind the fish attractors at Fall Creek. My son caught one almost 3 lbs on a plastic worm. Saw some big schools busting the surface across the way, but by the time we got there the bait remained, but the bass had moved on.

Was kind of disappointed after last week’s extravaganza.
