Crank bait crappie yesterday evening
Had 4 Bandit 300s behind the boat and in the water by 6pm, had 14 nice crappie by dark. 16 to 18 fow. 75 ft of 6lb test out, at 1.5 mph.Pink, Granada Shad were top producers. Pulled 3 distinct points in bay to left after passing under Hobson bridge towards the dam. After dark we parked under shallow side Hobson bridge 2nd pier from bank 35 fow. Put lights out and rigged some minnows down at 12ft. Caught 11 more nice keeper crappie, 5 fat stripe and 3 lb cat. Only 3 short crappie and 2 nice ones unbuttoned at the boat. Headed to ramp at midnight. Tried to post some pics from my phone but couldn’t get them to post for whatever reason

Update. Was cleaning my catch and noticed one white female had a yellow tinge around stomach and after looking closer she had the remains of egg sack that was drying up so she probably didn’t spawn for whatever reason. Also one of the crappie spit up a crayfish claw in livewell, from probably a 3 inch cray. I had a 50/50 catch of white and black crappie.
