CRAPPIE!!
Went out this past Sunday on the hunt for Crappie in my kayak. We put in at Fate Sanders and paddled around the cove behind the marina looking for schools. Found several of what I thought were crappie schools, but could not getting anything to bite.
Moved out of there down river to the next cove on the right past Fate Sanders and checked the two fish attractors on the right. The first one on the point as you come in we only caught a couple bluegill. The second one in the back right corner that was in about 6 ft of water showed crappie all around it sitting on the bottom. Got a few bites and lost one real nice one at the boat.
Bite was real slow and the wind picked up so we headed in.I am looking for somewhere that I can get to with great ease In the kayak to catch crappie. It is not as easy to check multiple areas when you have to paddle to them all in the wind!
We were using minnows mainly and tried some crappie magnets as well. All bites were on minnows. Any help is much appreciated.

i know 4 corners marina has a bunch if crappie around the boat docks. cast in between the slips and with a kayak u can get into tight corners we cant.
