What’s wrong with the Crappie bite? After having the best summer ever I ‘m having a tuff time catching those elusive Crappie. The water doesn’t look like the lake is turning over. The drawdown did not bother me before. Why has the drawdown slowed. Any info would be great. Yesterday I did catch 10 Crappie with 7 keepers for the best day in the last 3 weeks.

I can’t catch a keeper crappie to save my life this week. I don’t have a whole lot of brushpiles yet since we started fishing with a depthfinder. When will the fishing pick up?

Tomorrow I am going to start out with slip bobber shallow in the creeks and see what happens. Then go mid lake deep. Curious of our results. Brian

I caught several nice crappie last Sunday night just before the sun went down. Stewarts Creek at the fish attractor buoys on the left after you pass the ski course on the right. Minnows and slip bobbers.
