Crappie off Maddox road
I fished from 5:50-9:00 today. I caught 11 keepers and 25 nonkeepers in the one hour feeding period just before light, not to mention the 15 inch bass I caught as well. The lure of choice was bobby garlands tipped with minnows. I am thinking these fish are in the pre spawn stage because they were feeding heavily and they were thumping my jig very hard.

Alright! Ive been working on boat, rods and bait all day getting ready for tomorrow! Can’t wait to get out!

j.Hahaha, you and me both Simple! Especially considering the temps at 5-6am this time of year, no thanks! But serious kudos to you Creekcrappie, I wish I had your zeal!
