Has anyone ever done any day time cat jug fishing on Old Hickory? I want to take my grandson. He is to young to make it at night so I thought I would try it in the day. I usually always go at night and on Priest. Not sure where to go on Old Hickory or whether they will bite good during the day. Anyone ever do it? Thanks

Ive seen guys jug fish right outside Cedar Creek Marina. Take an immediate right out of Cedar Creek and go down in front of the docks. Ive seen them out in the middle of that area.

I put out 12 noodles today while crappie fishing. Caught 7 cats and lost 2-3 at the boat. Only caught 3 keeper crappie but caught 3 more cats on minnows while crappie fishing. Cats are bedding now. Get them jugs out! You can catch me during the day.

Caught 12 catfish on jugs from 4:30pm – 6:30pm yesterday on rocky banks. A couple good sized channels and one big flathead.
