Brian, this week’s tips on the Drop Shot rig was very interesting; I’ve tried it several times on Priest, and have yet to have any success. Last outing, I went to several of the deep water attractors the TWRA has placed below and above Faith Sanders (10-20ft) no luck…any suggestions?

One of my favorite structures to fish the drop shot is bluff walls. The TWRA buoys can hold bass, but I usually don’t fish them. My favorite season to fish the drop shot is in the winter when the water temperature is cold, not to say you wont catch them in the summer. Try some of the bluff wall around Hobson Pike or Hong Kong Island.

    I have a couple questions:
What is tight lining? Is it just hook and sinker no bobber?
What is a drop shot rig? and how do you fish it?

Brian does a great job with his videos; short instructional and to the point. Can’t wait till he takes his camera out on the lakes and shows some of his live expertiese in action.
