Hello everyone. Just joined your group. It’s been interesting reading some of your old post, and also very informative. I have just purchased a new aluminum fishing boat, and went on and spent the extra $ on upgraded electronics. Now I can’t decide on the navionics chip I need to purchase. I am a pan fisherman at heart but I still enjoy bass fishing. Any help would sure be appreciated.

I went with the Navionics+ chip and don’t regret it. It allows you to pick whatever area within the US that you want, not limited to the Midwest, West, South, etc. The only limiting factor would be the memory on the SD card itself.

Negative. It’s just called Navionics+. Here’s the link to it: http://www.navionics.com/en/navionics-plus
