This may be a little bit of a far shot, but does anyone have any advice on fall creek falls lake. My family goes every year at this time. We always seem to catch small bass and usually when fishing tiny torpedo and artificial worms. I’d like to see if there are any big ones in there! Is there a rule of thumb that relates to catching short fish in shallow, you should fish deeper for the bigger ones? Maybe we are too light with our torpedoes and need to bulk up a little. The water is typically pretty clear with probably 3 to 4ft visibility. I would guess the temp is a bit cooler than priest. The lake gets pretty deep and a lot of the banks are fairly steep. We always focus on the tree laydowns, some grasses near the banks, and transition banks. Any advice is appreciated.

I always head to the far end where the “cat tails ” are. Fish soft plastics ( salamanders ) on the edges. Good luck!
