Apparently Fate Sanders is still iced over. Any ramp recommendations? I’m tempted to go to Old Hickory, but I imagine the conditions are similiar?

    We opened Elm Hill today!
Busted ice from the ramp all the way out to the end of the slips. By the time we took out at dark, there was a pretty decent channel through the ice to go through. Hamilton Creek looked to be clear also with the exception of ice from the point midway back to the bac of the creek. The ramp looked clear though. Suggs was frozen from the red channel marker on the right all the way to the back.

Must have missed you simplecircuit. I wanted to put in there today but ended up all the way up in the West Fork. Do any good?

    We zero’d.
I had one bite on a crankbait in about 8ft of water in sailboat cove. I was looking at the graph instead of paying attention and the fish nailed my lure while it was sitting still. Oh well. Did you do any good? I’m going to post a conditions report later tonight.

I caught one 14 in LM. The same thing happened to me, I was sitting there fooling with the trolling motor speed and it whacked my drop shot. I was lucky enough to land it though. I was planning to run out of the river down to the main lake to fish some bluffs, but realized that wasn’t gonna happen when I ran out of the West Fork to find ice as far as I could see down river. I ended up turning around and just fishing my way back to the ramp and called it a day.

I tried to fish with a friend at Jefferson Springs yesterday. It was too shallow to launch. Mostly mud all the way to the channel.

The steam plant ramp on old hickory is open I use that ramp a lot but am no a fan of it. It’s very steep have to be careful loading and off loading.

I put in a Fate Sanders today with a client. All ice is gone, but the water is 37-38 degrees. One fish all day:( Will put up report tomorrow.

P.S. Spring Creek is chocolate milk and roaring about 10mph. The lake lake has gone up 2ft in the last 24 hours. Gotta love Priest!
