Feedback on Lowrance Touch Screen Graphs
Hello all fishing buddies. Hope everyone is catching some fish. I am currently deployed with military, but will return in the next 5 months or so and I am ready to do some fishing. I am however been updating my equipment here and there. I just purchased a Lowrance HDS Gen 2 touch that sounds really awesome. I am hoping someone has used one before to let me know how they like it. All the videos and stuff I have read made it sound amazing. Any comments on it or about Lowrance products would help a lot. first and foremost thank you for your service. you will like the lowrance touch unit. i have had both humminbird and the lowrance newer units. it will take some getting used to maneuvering the menu on the touch but once you get used to it you will be pleased. options are growing still so you will be able to add as you go. good luck and safe travels. brian has new lessons on learning your electronics may want to set up a few lessons from the man.

good to hear from you! Hope all is well wherever you are stationed. if you have any experience with the older HDS units and any apple product [iphone, ipad, ipod touch, etc…], it will be a breeze. i got an hds touch 9 during the spring, but never got it installed [in spring, fishing shallow, didn’t need it]. then i recently bought an hds 7 touch from another member of the boards. first time out, it was a breeze. so much better than my older LCX and LCS graphs. it’s also a lot better than the HDS 8 [gen 1] that I have. you’ll love it. the only problem is… if you’re like me, you’ll want more.

Thank you all so much. I got the HDS 9 Gen 2 Touch. It has the LS-2 transducer and I have the Navionics card. I can’t wait to get out on the water with it. So far this place has kept me on my toes but time is going by. Can’t wait to get on that water where people are friendly and the fish are biting. See you guys on the water before you know it.
