Fisherman Friendly Motels
Have several buddies from out of state coming down this fall to fish Priest and Old Hickory for 3-4 days. They’re looking for a “fisherman friendly” motel that’s a nice place and can accommodate boat trailer parking and overnight trolling motor battery charging. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!

That’s a Hard one… no Motels wanna be responsable for anything getting stolen… Your Best bet would be to call the Motels in the area you wanna fish and ask if its well lit up and if they have Security doing the night time to patrol around the grounds… Good luck…

A lot of people stay in Gallatin near the wal mart. Good lighting and a lot of businesses to keep the mischief down.

Stay on the Mt Juliet side? Several nice and safe hotels right off the interstate in Providence area and not to far from Cedar Creek Marina area. Several other boat ramps around, too. You have Dicks sporting goods, Academy sports and Gander Mountain. Just a thought? Not sure

Maybe check with Brian about one of his fishing and cabin packages, It seems to me that would work great for a group. Also I think he has some that are lake front and would be more private and alot safer for boats and equiptment! Good Luck!
