Fishing Results for Mon., 10/14
Launched boat at Jefferson Springs Rec. Area ramp around 8 am, results were:
1) Fished the flats behind the Smyma Pumping Station going straight back into the cut- thru about 150 yards = near the entrance caught a 14″ LM bass, then on the right bank near the big dead tree caught a 13″ LM bass. Fished a little longer more into the cut-thru say 300 yards in, but no more bass caught.
2) Next stop the cove with the Water Ski Course near Stewards Creek, worked mostly the left bank going into this cove = my partner caught a 6″ LM bass, then a 5″ bream that was it
3) Moved East and fished the bank near LaMar Hill all the way to the point directly West of the boat ramp at Fate Sanders Rec. Area = partner and I both got a couple of blow-ups on our buzz baits, but no bass were hooked
4) Cove behind Fate Sanders Marina = no luck here either, called it a day.
Not too bad a day of fishing, better than Fri., 10/11, but had hoped for more bass in the boat, plus at least one keeper bass.
