    Hello all,
I’m going out with one of my friends tomorrow from probably 10-3. Knowing that these aren’t really the prime hours for summer fishing… where should i go? options available include Percy Priest, Old Hickory, Center Hill. Unfortunately, the Cumberland is not on the list this week due to lack of docks at the ramp – my friend isn’t great at backing the trailer. So, I’m on my own with the loading/unloading. Seems like we are still a few weeks away from the fishing getting good again. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

depending on what kind of boat it is i usually tie one of the cletes to the end of the trailer, back it down and your friend can untie the rope after you pull the trailer out of the water, then wait for you.not exactly what you are looking for but it might help

Shallow bass are active in coves and pockets around Fate Sanders. Rattle trap have been productive behind Fate Sanders and in Sister Cove. Deep points on main channel in front of Stewarts Creek and Lamar Hill have been good with deep crankbaits and plum ribbon tail worms too.
