Got out there Friday 5-10pm. Had a good trip as far as numbers of fish go, but not so great on size except for one. Water temp was 77-78.First spot was the point on the right as you come into the second cut thru coming from Fate Sanders headed downstream towards Four Corners. I was in 12-15 ft. casting into about 4-5ft. The main channel was behind the boat about 20 yards as I faced downstream. Throwing a Bill Norman Middle N, chartruse on sides and a orangish gold flake on the top, I caught 5 or 6 in about 30 mins. They all were about 12-14 inches, except one that went 17.5 and Id guess 3.5-4 lbs. After another 20-30 mins without a bite, I moved on through the shortcut and into the cove across from youth incorporated camp. Fishing the main lake point on the right as you go into the cove, I got nothing in 30 mins. I’ve caught fish here before, just not tonight. Next I went back upstream towards Fate Sanders, through both shortcuts, and stopped at the second red buoy on the right where there’s also a fish attractor just out of the channel. It was dark now, so I starting throwing a black 7 inch culprit worm. About the third cast I hooked into something BIG, but it broke off and I never saw it. It faught like a bass, but it never surfaced like bass usually do. Coulda been a big cat I guess. Another 20 mins or so with no fish, I then went to the point on the right as you go into Stewarts Creek. The point that goes way out into the lake towards Stewarts Creek ramp. Caught another 2 fish, also 12-14 inches, just off the point in about 6-8 ft. of water on the black worm. They started surfacing, so I threw a buzzbait for a few minutes, but didn’t catch any. Moved on down the ledge/rock wall towards the ramp and picked up another 2 on the black worm up in the boulders along this ledge. Still about 12-14 inches long, a pound give or take. I’m in 20ft. casting into 3ft. and they hit it about 5-6ft as I hopped the worm back towards the boat. A fun trip for numbers of fish, just not much size except the one that was 17.5

I’ve fished that point before, but have never caught anything from it. Ever. I know you and others have cause I read the reports, but for whatever reason I just haven’t.
