I fished from about 3 pm until dark out of 4 corners, actually parked next to Brian’s truck. I fished Bryants Grove hump with one small fish. Move on to Jones mill green buoy and fished the crap out of that drop and 2 fish with 1 keeper. Moved down the bluff wall and fished a few points here and there, nothing. Moved to hong kong island made about 5 casts before I up an left. idled over to the pump house and caught 2 shorts. Ran alway back towards long hunter bridge and fished the closest island. Caught 1 big fat keeper there and had a blowup on a topwater right before dark that didn’t hold.

Great day to be on the water and while the wind was there, it wasn’t debilitating. Nice and warm with overcast skies. I found bait and fish on the graph at every place I fished and basically exactly where they should be and I thought I was going to wack them at every spot. Jones mill had fish all over it. Just couldn’t catch them today.

Same here fished jones mill early caught 1 short fish. Pulled 2 off the right rock point at the second cut through and another short fish across the channel from fate sanders. Best spot of the day was the cove on the right before Bryant’s grove ramp coming from fate sanders. Was driving passed and saw the surface was going crazy across the entire cove. Pulled in and started throwing my 1/2 oz boo rig with a sexy shad square bill tied on and hammered the white bass for the next hour. I think we caught around 40 fish kept 15 for dinner. I haven’t seen a school of fish that big feed on the surface ever on priest we ended up in the middle of the school at one point and they stretched 100 yards out on each side of the boat it was unreal! All 12 inch fish but we’re a blast and made a great dinner.
