Notice given to me at Elm Hill Marina: The launch ramp at Elm Hill Marina will close to the public as of June 13th 2014
The launch ramp at the Elm Hill Recreation Area will add parking and stay open 24 hours a day to accommodate our
    friends who trailer their boats.

They charge 5 at the other ramp too.
I wonder if they will be re-opening the Elm Hill ramp to the public in the winter time? I like it then because I can pull over to the restaurant dock to pick up my partner at winter pool. All of the other floating docks are out of the water during that time.

They might be too far for you to launch, but both Longhunter courtesy docks are on rollers and adjust to water levels. They are also free.

Those rollers really come in handy in the winter!
