    Brain,

Plan on fishing on above dates launching at Long Hunter Park ramp:

    1) How do I make adjustments to account for todays rain and the forecast cold front on Thur. , in terms of changes to current bass patterns ?

2 ) When I leave Long Hunter should I head away from or towards the dam ?

    3) What fishing spots should I go to first?

    4) What lures and how deep should I fish?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Up and down lake have been productive. I would start shallow looking for bait. The rain should not effect the bass.

I can verify those reports. The past few times I’ve been out, I’ve had little to no success. Hope that changes soon.

Crappie fishing was good Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday we cleaned 23 nice Crappie. For the first time all fall we had more white Crappie keepers than black Crappie. The white Crappie were more shallow. The best depth for us was 6 to 10 feet deep. We only jig fish via the tight line but did put on a bobber in the shallow water and caught a few. I think with this rain the bite will be even better. Going tomorrow for sure. Web used the electric chicken and orange/chart. Bang there’s one.

That’s awesome! Were you fishing scattered brush in that 6-10 range or just a ledge, point or something? Also, what neck of woods are you in, lower (dam), mid (fate sanders) or upper (river) section of the lake?
