Issue with Lews American Hero Spinning Rod
Anybody else have the Lews American Hero Spinning Rod? Well I’m on my 2nd rod, the first one snapped last Friday on Cheatham. Academy was nice enough to give me a new one since the first one was only 2 months old. So I went to BPS today to buy a new spinning reel in a Abu Garcia Orra S230. I get home to pair up the new combo and it doesn’t fit in the grooves. Not only did I try my Abu Garcia, but I tried my Daiwa SS Tournament that fit perfectly in my last Lews Spinning Rod. I got to looking at the plastic screw down and it seems to be defective. Point is…. When I go back to Academy they will have to give a different Rod because I’m over Lews Rods!

Not sure on what your looking to spend
on a rod. But I have 2 of the Abu Garcia
“Ike” spinning rods and 4 of the Abu Garcia “Ike” casting rods
and I love them. They all have Abu Garcia Sx reels
on them and work awesome together..
