The bite on Priest is still really tough. Spent most of the day above Hopson Pike and never had a bite. Caught probably over 1000 shad on a blade, jigging spoon, or jerkbait. If anyone is looking to find bait, Four Corners is the place to find it. But there’s so much of it, you might be able to walk across the lake on the backs of all the shad. Water is around 45 degrees here. Late in the afternoon I headed back down toward Suggs and managed to find a couple wads of fish sitting wayyy out about 100 yards off the bank and caught a beautiful 4 and a 5lber. I definitely don’t think that the lower end of the lake has near the presence of baitfish the the upper and mid-lake regions have, and by the looks of their crushers I’d say the bass are telling the same story. Hope everyone else has had a better day out on the lake than I have had for the last two days.
