  The last two days I have been chasing the crappie. Yesterday we caught around 60, including 30 keepers!

  Focusing mid-lake we fished brushpiles in 12ft-21ft with live minnows and Crappie Magnets. The best colors for us were black/chart and percy…both fished on a pink or chartreuse 1/8oz head. Specifically we fished around Mouse Tail Island, the long point that comes out in front of Long Hunter, and the flat in front of Hong Kong. Our best areas was the sand point at Long Hunter in 14ft.

  I’ll be out all tomorrow and Friday for crappie, but will try to scrape up a few hours for bass.
