    Guys if you want to learn how to fish ledges or just want to catch fish. Then call Brian and lets set one up because right now is the time to go. Took a Client yesterday , we meet up at 3pm and then we started scanning ledges, and it didn’t take long. When I saw that school on my Lowrance I said we are fixing to catch em….and did we do just that. One after another after another, we caught so many the client said if you want to head in you can because we have caught so many fish in 2 hours I cant even stand up anymore….LOL we kept smashing them. We caught around 60 bass with are best 5 going 18lbs and about 75 % of the fish where 2-4 lbers. caught a lot of fish on a jig, worm, and when they wouldn’t bite ever cast I would pick up a 6XD and get them fired back up so we could catch them on every cast again, yes it was that good!!!! Call Brian and lets go smash some Green Fish.

    What part of lake were they feeding? Above flippers? How deep?

    Not what I was hoping to hear…
    I’m headed to Chicago for the week in the morning… Hopefully those fish stay put until this weekend.
    We fished drops/ledges from Cedar Creek up to Cairo Bend on Sunday without a single largemouth bite.
    We did get into a huge school of 2-4lb stripers & white bass in the jumps just downriver from 109 in about 5ft of water.

    Stephen, In terms of towards the dam, could you narrow down the stretch a little based on some landmarks? I usually use the following breakdowns for that area.

    Bluegrass -> Shutes
    Shutes -> Drakes Creek
    Drakes Creek -> Old Hickory Marina
    Old Hickory Marina -> Dupont
    Dupont -> Rockland

    Also, with the fish being in 10-18′, were they off the drop? Or on high spots? Just hoping to eliminate some water before heading out later in the day on Sunday when we get back.
    Based on your report, I’m thinking you were fishing between Drakes Creek and Old Hickory. Am I close?
    thanks. j.
