Depends on which waypoint you’re talking about but generally speaking, I think you’re correct, must of them are intended for when Percy is at summer pool. Otherwise, if there’s decent clarity to the water, a few people on here are catching crappie in and around the finger coves within Spring Creek.

Right now most of the coordinates will be too shallow. However, there are a few that have enough depth. Try the ones that are in 20ft at summer pool. Also, with the warm temperatures moving in most of the channel ledges will up lake where there is a lot of wood on the drop will have crappie on them. Try a 1/16oz jig and crappie magnet casting to the shallow side of the drop and reeling it in very slowly. The flat/drops near Jefferson Pike are productive.

Caught 12 keepers Friday and 8 today outside the fish attractor in Stewarts Creek. Also, a plethora of yellows, and some whites/hybrids.
Ran into Frisky today.

Great to see you today Degaman, I think you’re being a little modest, you may have caught only 8 keepers but you were catching something just about every cast, and like you said, even the smaller ones are fun to catch. Let me know when you start fishing the upper end of east fork at the dam, I’d like to join you one afternoon. I’m sure I could learn something.

Good work, guys. What was the ticket, crappie magnets? Also are you casting a 1/16 or 1/8 jighead?

Thanks guys for the input. I’ll be out Tue and Wed with my Crappie Magnets!

Crappie magnet or pink/white 3 tail grub on 1/16th head in 3-6 ft of water. I was using 2lb test, and couldn’t keep a 1/8th jighead from snagging the bottom. Today fished 4lb test and couldn’t get the 16th jighead deep enough. Live and learn.
