Not sure how many of you watch the MLF on TV but its usually pretty good. They just started filming their 2nd season this week and its in Middle TN (Sorta)! They are filming it in Cookeville, TN which means they will fish lakes withing 1.5 hours of there. Which could be JPP, Hickory, Dale Hollow and others around our area. While they wont air until Jan 2016 I think its pretty cool that our local area will get some great exposure!

Oh yeah, I love it. I usually but the extended cast coverage which is 2+ hours for each round of competition. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who has the time. That’s great to hear about them coming here! Can’t wait to watch them pick apart our local bodies of water.

Spent the weekend on Center Hill with the family. Ran into Ott Defoe and Kevin Short. It appears the show filmed on Dale Hollow Wednesday and Thursday, then Center Hill Friday and Saturday. Everyone seemed extremely tight lipped on the fishing. Guess we are going to have to wait until January to see how our local lakes treated the pros. Kevin was gracious enough to posed with me and the kids. Kevin is a great guy!
