Can anyone suggest what brand is the best marine trailer hubs that have been well worth the money. I am about to overhaul my boat trailer and get all the cheap northern tool parts off and in the trash where they belong.

I buy all my stuff from http://www.etrailer.com. Last year I bought new wheels and hubs from them. Hubs come pregreased and are darn near worth doing every time since it is so much easier than replacing just the bearings. PLus they are cheap and I’ve never had an issue with any of their stuff.

I just bought all new hubs for my boat trailer and the guys at Clark Marine told me that the vortex hubs were the best. They are kind of expensive but I’d rather be safe and spend the money on something that can cause me a lot of trouble going to or from the lake.

Vortex hubs are great – I have had them on several trailers and they are worth every penny… you can’t go wrong since they are sealed, you don’t have to mess with filling them up like you do with bearing buddies. I’ve order them online from Eastern Marine and Trailer Parts Depot.

    Good luck!
