Has the water cleared up much since last Friday? I didn’t get out this weekend considering all the muddy water reports. I am considering taking off Monday to fish. Can anybody give an idea of the conditions? How about some advice for bass or crappie for Monday? Thanks, David

Just got back from the shortest fishing trip ever. Launched from the Stewarts Creek ramp and fished for about an hour and a half before I called it quits. Pure chocolate milk down there. If I were to go tomorrow, I would try the Elm Hill/Hamilton Creek area.

Went out today. The mud has diminished significantly from what it was in Stewart Creek, but has pushed further out around the channels. Looks clear around Hongkong. I would think Spring and Fall Creeks have also cleared somewhat. Be cautious of floating debris.

Down lake from Hobson Pike Bridge all the way to the dam is almost always clear with the exception of Hurricane and Suggs Creeks.

I fished east and west fork today and also down by Jefferson with no luck. Water was dirty for sure. I found crappie but they were not biting. Disappointing for sure, I thought it was going to be good day.

Thanks all! I can confirm that the fish were not cooperative today, at least for me. Spring Creek clarity was 12-18 inches and everywhere else looked about 6 inches. I caught one short in five hours.

West fork was clear today, maybe 2-3 feet of clarity
