I bought this particular boat 2 years ago and the tach and gas gauge have never worked. I have sold and a boat every 2 years since I can remember but my wife says I have to keep this. She likes it and that why so its not the end of the world. I’m just a typical guy, “The only thing better than good is different”.

If I take it to a dealer I know they want an arm and a leg just in shop time. The gauges don’t have to be pretty and I can get them cheap. Is this something I can do on my own or does a dealer need to. Anyone have a rec on this or better yet, can anyone on here do it??

Its a 21′ aluminum deck boat.

my first option would be to watch some youtube videos on it. ive learned a ton of boat/motor how to from that. if it doesnt work then ben malone , (one of brians guides) is a wonderful tech guy and does my stuff that im not smart enough to do. he does charge but it beats going to a big shop where they rob you half the time.

Unfortunately, Ben Malone and I have parted ways from the installation/repair shop and guiding. My best recommendation would be Anderson Marine(hour labor is near same) and use the COUPON at the top of the Premium Report Pages for $50 off ANY service!
