OH crappie
Went out yesterday for half a day hoping to put some fish in the well. Started out long lining hot grubs, I worked water from 16 to 8 fow and caught 2 drum. Water was 40 to 41 degrees and visibility ranged from 6″ to 12″. I slowed down and tight lined jigs tipped with minnows. I caught half a dozen short fish. It was a disappointing day as far as fish but it was a good day on the water, beats being at home in the house watching fishing. As a side note, a friend is fishing KY at big Sandy and had 21 keepers at 11:30 this am, spider rigging jigs in 12 to 16 flow, muddy water at 38 degrees. That’s just not right!
