old hickory and preist crappie

I am starting to fish tenn. lakes. Ky and Barkley are just too far of a drive. I have been introduced to pulling bandit 300 crankbaits for crappie. Have you tried this pattern on your home lakes and any luck doing so -

I troll VERY little. I know trolling does well with Bandit 200 and 300s on Percy Priest and Old Hickory.
