The family wants to get out and learn more about fishing. I’m looking for some guidance for crappie on Old Hickory and Priest. I’m new to crappie fishing and both of these lakes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can search crappie in the forum at the top and it will pull up all the crappie reports.

Brian, I tried the forum at the top of the page for “crappie” as you suggested it and it did NOT work. Said it was too common?

Sorry. To read old crappie reports you’ll need to look in back reports and read the ones titled crappie. In a nut she’ll you’ll want to stay in 3-8ft the nexterm 6-8 weeks fishing around brush, trees, rocks, isolated wood. The crappie will be up spawning. Try live minnows under floats and 1/16oz jigs with a various colors. Stay in the back of coves, creeks, and pockets.
