Went to OH yesterday and started fishing about 7am with a friend. I’ve know this area very well and have fished it for the last 25 years. He was casting crappie jigs and I was casting plastic worms. First cast I had a hit. Caught one about 2lbs within 5 minutes. Caught another one in about 10 minutes. It went down hill from there. We fished until about 11am and only caught 4 total.

The water temp has dropped from the low 70s to 63 because of all that rain we got last week. No one that we spoke with was catching large numbers. I expect bass fishing to pickup as the temperatures rise this next week.

Got another report from Normandy yesterday. My son and his friend fished Normandy and were casting lizards and craws. They did not catch much but could see large bass on the beds in the shallows (with polarizing sunglasses) but they would not bite. This may be the same problem at OH.
