I just purchased a pair of EVA knobs for my one of my Abu Garcia SX reels.
While I was window shopping I saw some carbon fiber handles.
Was wondering if anyone has every replaced their handle with the carbon fiber handle.
Just a few questions about the carbon fiber handle.
    1.Are they worth the money?
2.Can you really tell a weight difference in your reel?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have a few with carbon handles and you can slightly tell the difference. Its more of a bling factor. Now if you want a reel that cast a lot further put ceramic bearings in the spool!

I get paid to race Radio Controlled cars professionally (yea most laugh) and one of the companies I race for is a bearing company that does have custom bearings made for our RC Cars using ceramic balls but they have a special phenolic race that captures the balls that makes them unbelievably smooth and long lasting. I have been using these in all my reels lately and they are much much better than the Orange seal Boca bearings that most places sell for 35-40.00 per pair.

Thanks for the info on the handle.
I’ll definitely look into the bearing swap.
They might be a good upgrade for my deep cranking rod for longer cast.

    I’ve never used them.
