What was going on in sailboat cove today?
We fished from 11-1 out of Hamilton Creek and the moth of Sailboat Cove was covered in fishing boats. We talked to some guys who were taking out that said they had been catching hybrids in 35ft of water. However, the boats sitting around we’re all out over open water sitting still. Tey started just behind the submerged trees and went out about half way into the mouth. Hybrids? Crappie? Hang out? Also, was anyone here fishing the main point between Hamilton Creek and the bluffs? Saw a boat with a single guy fishing there the entire time we were on the lake. Looked like he had a go-pro on a pole mount. We did catch a couple of short large, outs in 30ft on dropshot and football head jigs.

My guess is whites and hybrids. A lot of guys like to jig spoons there this time of year.
