Went with my son from dark till 9:00 last night. Fished from the bank below the dam, on the genorator side, went down the bank where the culvert runs under the sidewalk. Cast 1/4 jigs with pearl 3″ twister tails. We brought 7 keepers home and put back 3 short fish. They were biting in spurts, if you watch the other guys, one would catch a fish then maybe 2 or 3 more people would catch a fish then it was all over. All in all it wasn’t a bad night, 2 of the keepers pushed 20″. From talking to the other guys they are on and off from night to night. One of the locals has been doing good at day break, bouncing jigs and minnows near the lock walls from a boat till about 10 am then they shut off. He did say the boats get pretty stacked over there on the weekends, just need to show your fellow fisher persons respect and enjoy the day.

    Good luck all
    Ray

Night fishing in January is way out of my league. Geez I bet it was cold.
