Thought I had a school of something besides well gar.binteresting how it showed up on hds7. Gar were surface so that’s how I got a visual of them. You can see the long white image pretty cool.

Definitely some gar in there but it also looks like some other fish as well. If you switch to 2d the gar arches will have lines hanging off them almost like moss. Also if you reduce your contrast some you can identify them by the shadows on the sidescan. P

Thanks for the reply. Ill keep that in mind about the moss like lines? Interesting never heard that before. I fished that area with no bites and hoping no gar would bite because I did see there may be other fish in the area. I love my HDS7 and try to control myself with the touchpad wonderland with all the options geez..LOL
